DLP Capital is a distinguished company dedicated to financing and building Thriving Communities, primarily focusing on safe, attainable housing. With a mission to transform the nation by driving the development of communities that thrive, DLP Capital has established itself as a leader in fostering growth and impact, blending financial stewardship with a passion for social change. The company values a purpose-driven work culture, emphasizing greatness, authenticity, community, and servant leadership. They are recognized for their rapid growth, having appeared on the Inc. 5000's list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America for thirteen consecutive years. The culture at DLP Capital prioritizes living fully with a balanced approach to professional and personal life, aiming to positively impact the lives of residents, investors, sponsors, and employees alike.

The Event Manager role at DLP Capital is integral to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale and multi-program events that align with the company’s core mission and marketing objectives. Reporting directly to the Sr. Event Manager, this position demands a strategic and operationally focused individual adept at managing every facet of event management — from budgeting and logistics to vendor coordination and on-site event execution. The role is vital not only for ensuring events run smoothly but also for maximizing return on investment and delivering exceptional attendee experiences. This includes handling complex event logistics such as venue selection, audiovisual setups, transportation coordination, and accommodations.

Strategic planning skills are critical, including the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive event calendars, detailed checklists, and post-event feedback systems that drive continuous improvement. Furthermore, the role requires managing event budgets prudently, approving expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality. The Event Manager also plays a key role in recruiting and coordinating with external vendors to ensure seamless production and high-quality event standards.

This role suits professionals with at least three years of event management experience, a proven record of delivering events on time and within budget, proficiency in Google Suite Business products, and excellent communication skills. The ability to travel regularly and creatively solve problems is also essential. The company fosters an environment driven by impact, challenges, and growth, encouraging Event Managers to embrace roadblocks as opportunities and to contribute meaningfully to the company’s audacious goals and transformative vision. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity for dedicated event management professionals seeking to make a substantial difference within a values-driven, high-growth company.
