- Prior experience in event planning or hospitality
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in multitasking and problem-solving
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Own reliable transportation

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with event planning software such as Social Tables

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate meetings and events to maximize banquet space and catering revenue
- Build strong relationships and negotiate effectively with clients
- Collaborate with property operations and food and beverage teams
- Assist clients with food, beverage, and audio-visual selections using upselling techniques
- Create event floor plans with Social Tables and ensure client approval
- Serve as host during events with flexible availability
- Utilize Marriott’s CI/TY system to manage event orders and forecasts
