Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- one to two years experience and/or training in event services or related field
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong problem-solving skills
- capability to handle complaints and incident investigations
- ability to supervise and lead a team
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- commitment to providing excellent guest services
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- one to two years experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to function with minimum supervision
- handle complaints
- investigate incidents and write reports
- able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to react well under pressure and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- resolve problems in a timely manner
- willingness to work in a dynamic event services environment
- effective communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Train and instruct employees
- prepare facility for opening and closing during events in the absence of Co-Event Services Manager or Assistant General Manager
- schedule workers
- monitor activity during events
- enforce rules
- respond to emergencies
- serve as liaison to Assistant General Manager
- develop and implement parking program for all guests
- ensure financial accountability and maximization of parking revenues
- oversee parking lot cleanliness and maintenance
- prepare replies to public correspondence with patrons
- supervise ushers, security, ticket takers and parking attendants during events
