Job Requirements
- At least one year previous experience in hotel convention services experience
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, banquet setup styles and catering service standards
- strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing, effectively deal with internal and external guest relations and provide overall guest satisfaction

Job Duties
- Establish rapport and build trust with clients to maintain relationships that result in repeat business
- coordinate, organize, detail and service all meetings, functions and events according to client's requests and needs
- acquire thorough knowledge of meeting space capacities, menu items, AV equipment, meeting room setup styles and all details to finalize banquet event orders for meetings and catering events
- upsell food and beverage products and event services to maximize profit
- monitor in house group activity and provide assistance for event set up
- attend BEO meetings to discuss details of events, set up requirements and client requests
