Job Requirements
- Four-year college degree preferred
- At least two years working in event planning or management
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to carry full service tray comfortably
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Passion for outstanding guest service and hospitality
- Creative and task-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Job Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of event planning
- Competent with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
- Familiar with industry standard event software
- Demonstrated management skills
- Enthusiasm for all things 21c
- Ability to motivate and lead teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass a background check
Job Duties
- Ownership of all events from planning to execution with guidance from Director of Food & Beverage
- Work directly with clients to plan all event details including menus, set-ups, AV needs, and timelines
- Create innovative set-ups, menus, and functions for groups
- Ensure successful events exceeding client needs and company profitability
- Plan and execute all 21c and in-house events and assist with off-site events as needed
- Manage the Banquets and Catering team including Event Captains, servers, and bartenders
- Maintain strong communication with clients, Executive Chef, Food & Beverage team, and vendors
