Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in corporate meetings or related events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze client proposals and contracts
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of local venues and suppliers
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Residency in Boston area required

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Boston area's attractions, hotels, and venues
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be based in Boston area

Job Duties

  • Maintain Salesforce including revenue and gross profit updates
  • Manage client accounts and facilitate communication
  • Conduct client discovery and lead qualification calls
  • Develop and maintain proposal requests and program services agreements
  • Plan and attend site visits
  • Coordinate supplier outreach for availability and pricing
  • Oversee all aspects of supplier and venue management including negotiations and contracting
  • Develop and implement on-site staffing plans
  • Create and distribute production packets
  • Manage supplier invoicing and processing
  • Organize and attend pre-convention meetings
  • Manage on-site event execution and hotel communications
  • Submit supplier invoices for processing
  • Conduct post-event client surveys
