Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in a similar event management role
- College degree or applicable work history
- Possession of TABC and Food Handlers license required in Texas
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations
- Customer service oriented with a focus on delivering 5-star experiences
- Physical ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and stand or walk for 8-12 hours
Job Duties
- Assist with the hiring and training of banquet employees including bartenders, servers, and dishwashers
- Ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
- Assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
- Execute banquet event orders (BEOs) and deliver exceptional customer service
- Follow all safe food handling guidelines
- Provide training, coaching, and feedback to employees during events
- Spearhead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
- Lead the set-up and breakdown of all event spaces according to BEO
- Maintain venue cleanliness before and after events
- Assist with procuring and ordering event and venue supplies including alcohol
- Enforce company standards, policies, and procedures consistently
