Job Requirements
- Experience in event management or related hospitality role
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Valid TABC and Food Handlers license in Texas
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
- College degree or applicable work history
- TABC and Food Handlers license required in Texas
- Able to lift 30 pounds frequently and stand or walk for 8-12 hours
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must submit and complete background check
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Assist with hiring and training banquet employees including bartenders servers and dishwashers
- Ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
- Assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
- Execute banquet event orders and deliver exceptional customer service
- Follow all safe food handling guidelines
- Provide training coaching and constructive feedback to staff during events
- Lead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
- Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces according to BEOs
- Maintain venue cleanliness before and after events
- Assist with procuring and ordering event and venue-specific supplies including alcohol
- Enforce company standards policies and procedures consistently
