Job Requirements

  • Experience in event management or related hospitality role
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Valid TABC and Food Handlers license in Texas
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
  • College degree or applicable work history
  • TABC and Food Handlers license required in Texas
  • Able to lift 30 pounds frequently and stand or walk for 8-12 hours
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must submit and complete background check
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Assist with hiring and training banquet employees including bartenders servers and dishwashers
  • Ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
  • Assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
  • Execute banquet event orders and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Follow all safe food handling guidelines
  • Provide training coaching and constructive feedback to staff during events
  • Lead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
  • Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces according to BEOs
  • Maintain venue cleanliness before and after events
  • Assist with procuring and ordering event and venue-specific supplies including alcohol
  • Enforce company standards policies and procedures consistently
