Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • developed business communication skills both written and verbal
  • working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • present a professional appearance and confidence
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
  • strong time management skills
  • experience with major hospitality sales CRM systems

Job Duties

  • coordinate all aspects of event planning from initial consultation to execution
  • serve as liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel
  • provide direction and supervision during meetings, banquets, and event functions
  • manage logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage coordination, public meeting spaces, and billing
  • resolve problems and suggest alternatives during events
  • ensure outstanding guest service and satisfaction
  • maintain effective communication with customers and team members
