Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination or a related hospitality role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times
  • Deliver a successful experience for the planner and attendees with the goal of garnering both repeat and referral business
  • Respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers
  • Deliver clear and concise communication representative of Concord Hospitality via all communication avenues
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills with a strong focus on details
  • Prepare for and participate in internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and client site visits
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, meeting space, concessions, group history, cut-off dates, contract clauses, event orders, billing details, and other event particulars
