Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management or production
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Knowledge of event production and industry standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to handle confidential information
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college preferred in Event Production or Sports/Entertainment Management or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management or production, preferably concerts and sporting events
- Coursework or training in crowd management desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of event production including lighting, audio, video, rigging, industry terminology and technical requirements
- Ability to reliably carry out tasks within strict deadlines
- Knowledge of technical audio-visual and electronic systems specific to the event industry
- Ability to read, understand, and implement artists’ riders
- Knowledge of fire and public safety regulations
- Working knowledge of standard trade tools and equipment
- Ability to operate under extreme deadlines and budgets
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in keyboarding and computer software including MS Office
- Proficient in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Self-motivated with strong client relations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

- Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties
- Ability to understand and work from instructions, blueprints, drawings, and construction submittals
Job Duties
- Review technical riders, pre-event information and discuss production requests and requirements with promoters and artists' representatives
- Advance all assigned events for successful execution
- Organize and manage pre-event meetings ensuring attendance of relevant staff
- Develop and distribute event memos and information sheets timely to all departments
- Compile and present event information in staff and pre-event meetings
- Conduct post-event briefings for continual improvement
- Develop event files to retain all pertinent information for future reference
- Prepare budgets and cost control measures for assigned events and ensure accurate event reporting
- Attend and lead event settlements with finance department
- Develop Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) drawings for events and collaborate with ticketing department
- Anticipate and resolve production, logistical and operational problems
- Oversee event personnel and report feedback to department managers
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, contractors and officials
- Assist in developing departmental rules, regulations, standard operating procedures, and training manuals
- Assist in reviewing best practices for event load-in, setup, maximum capacity, and teardown
- Develop cost estimates for events of various sizes and types
- Learn and review all areas of the arena related to event use
- Assist in bid and sales process for new events
- Complete all duties timely with safety and professionalism
