Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of events related experience
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work with a wide range of clientele
- Ability to manage teams of employees in event execution
- Monday through Friday availability
- Willingness to work weekends and nights as needed for special events

Job Duties
- Provide leadership and customer support in planning and execution of UCEN event facilities
- Meet with clients and facility contacts to schedule space, equipment, and staff
- Make arrangements for rental equipment as needed
- Ensure facility expectations and paperwork compliance
- Work with clients from event conception through completion, confirming timelines and special requests
- Design event diagrams or CAD drawings
- Coordinate with sponsors and sponsoring agencies on event planning details
- Manage and maintain facility and event calendars
- Communicate organizational information to management, event coordinators, and staff
- Represent the unit on division and university-wide committees
- Oversee staff responsible for event equipment setup, execution, and removal
- Provide training and feedback to staff
- Develop and maintain training curriculum, manuals, and skill tests
- Coordinate new employee training each semester
- Assist with concessions process, expressive activity events, and risk review
- Perform other duties as assigned
