Job Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of experience in event planning or event coordination
  • CMP certification or equivalent
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale events and substantial budgets
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and perform financial tracking
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30 percent
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms (preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or corporate environments (preferred)
  • Skilled in delivering hybrid and virtual events (preferred)

Job Qualifications

  • Six plus years of experience in event planning, project management, or corporate event coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience managing events of 500 plus attendees and budgets exceeding 250k dollars
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Vendor management and contract negotiation expertise
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Budget management and financial tracking skills
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20-30 percent
  • Experience with event technology platforms such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Zoom Events (preferred)
  • Background in healthcare, retail, or multi-site corporate environments (preferred)
  • Experience delivering hybrid and virtual events (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Manage the full lifecycle of corporate, brand, investor, and associate events (in-person, hybrid, and virtual)
  • Partner with business leaders to define event objectives, success measures, and audience engagement strategies
  • Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and ROI measurement
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships (venues, production, catering, décor, technology)
  • Manage project planning, calendars, timelines, logistics, invoices, and reports
  • Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration and regularly communicate updates
  • Oversee event registration, communications, equipment, and materials coordination with Marketing and Communications teams
  • Coordinate travel itineraries and prepare expense reports for executives, staff, or attendees
  • Provide on-site leadership and troubleshooting for successful event execution
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and report on outcomes, insights, and improvements
  • Maintain knowledge of event industry trends, tools, and best practices to innovate event experiences
