Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field
- minimum of 3 years of experience as an event manager or in a similar role
- ability to plan and execute large-scale, high-end events
- excellent organizational and project management skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in event management software

Job Qualifications

- proven experience (3+ years) as an event manager or similar role
- demonstrated success in planning and executing large-scale, high-end events

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate events with close attention to the overall calendar and available resources
- develop comprehensive event plans outlining timelines, budgets, and required resources
- collaborate with members and guests to understand event objectives and requirements
- research and select appropriate venue spaces ensuring they meet event needs
- facilitate weekly banquet event order meetings with staff to ensure information is communicated to all departments in a timely manner
- work closely with the Banquet Department to develop suitable menus and beverage offerings
- coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for all event services
- build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the event planning process
- conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events
- work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director to promote events in a timely manner to maximize attendance and engagement
- prepare and manage event budgets including all expenses and labor
- monitor financial performance and provide regular budget updates to leadership
- foster a collaborative working environment and promote teamwork across departments
