Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • valid driver’s license
  • reliable transportation
  • able to lift 30 pounds frequently
  • able to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours
  • submit to a background check
  • flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and late nights

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
  • college degree or applicable work history
  • Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) license required
  • food handlers license required in Texas

Job Duties

  • Assist with the hiring and training of banquet employees including bartenders, servers, and dishwashers
  • ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
  • assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
  • execute Banquet Event Orders and deliver exceptional customer service for 5-star reviews
  • follow safe food handling guidelines
  • nurture and develop employees through training, coaching, and feedback during events
  • spearhead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
  • lead the set-up and breakdown of event spaces according to BEOs
  • maintain venue cleanliness pre- and post-events
  • assist with procuring and ordering event and venue-specific supplies including alcohol and ensure timely delivery and quality control
  • enforce company standards, policies, and procedures consistently
