Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license
- reliable transportation
- able to lift 30 pounds frequently
- able to stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours
- submit to a background check
- flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and late nights
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
- college degree or applicable work history
- Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) license required
- food handlers license required in Texas
Job Duties
- Assist with the hiring and training of banquet employees including bartenders, servers, and dishwashers
- ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
- assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
- execute Banquet Event Orders and deliver exceptional customer service for 5-star reviews
- follow safe food handling guidelines
- nurture and develop employees through training, coaching, and feedback during events
- spearhead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
- lead the set-up and breakdown of event spaces according to BEOs
- maintain venue cleanliness pre- and post-events
- assist with procuring and ordering event and venue-specific supplies including alcohol and ensure timely delivery and quality control
- enforce company standards, policies, and procedures consistently
