Job Duties

  • plan and execute internal and external event strategies to enhance BMO's image and customer experience
  • identify synergies across business groups and optimize event properties
  • measure and evaluate event performance and report results
  • create and maintain standards and best practices for brand communication
  • manage a variety of events including board dinners, awards, conferences, sponsorships, charities, and employee initiatives
  • prepare briefing materials, agendas, and schedules
  • implement tracking systems to assess event effectiveness
  • develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and logistical details for events
  • coordinate events by collaborating with partners across business groups
  • identify opportunities for executives to enhance community profiles through speaking and presentations
  • manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiations
  • work independently on complex and unique tasks within given rules
  • accept broader work or accountabilities as needed
