Job Duties
- plan and execute internal and external event strategies to enhance BMO's image and customer experience
- identify synergies across business groups and optimize event properties
- measure and evaluate event performance and report results
- create and maintain standards and best practices for brand communication
- manage a variety of events including board dinners, awards, conferences, sponsorships, charities, and employee initiatives
- prepare briefing materials, agendas, and schedules
- implement tracking systems to assess event effectiveness
- develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and logistical details for events
- coordinate events by collaborating with partners across business groups
- identify opportunities for executives to enhance community profiles through speaking and presentations
- manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiations
- work independently on complex and unique tasks within given rules
- accept broader work or accountabilities as needed
