Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years experience in event management or related field
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Proficient in scheduling and staff management
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational abilities

- Proven experience in event management or related supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of event planning and execution processes
- Familiarity with customer service best practices
- Commitment to maintaining high service and hospitality standards
Job Duties
- Supervises event management including but not limited to selection, training, scheduling, monitoring independent work progress and providing technical, administrative and operational assistance and guidance
- Communicates with clients, in advance and on-site to ensure anticipated service levels are being met
- Conducts or participates in departmental meetings to improve client service levels
- Increase customer satisfaction by building clients knowledge of the vast service options available at the OCCC
- Involvement in establishing options and services made available to clients
- Meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned
