Job Requirements
- 10 plus years of event planning and management experience
- Ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively
- Strong vendor relations, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel to Sacramento and Los Angeles for up to two weeks per event
- Based in California with Bay Area preferred
- Availability onsite during event weeks in March and June 2026

- Strong skills in vendor relations, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Proven ability to work independently and stay organized under pressure
- Experience managing large-scale events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with nonprofit event environments
Job Duties
- Design and manage two major nonprofit events in March and June 2026
- Coordinate vendor relations including negotiation and contract management
- Develop and oversee event budgets
- Plan event logistics and coordinate event schedules
- Travel to Sacramento and Los Angeles to manage onsite event execution
- Maintain organization and timelines under pressure
- Collaborate with nonprofit staff to align events with organizational goals
