Job Requirements

  • Current student at a North Dakota higher education institution pursuing a degree in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to engage professionally with vendors, sponsors, and event attendees
  • Previous experience in event planning or customer service preferred

  • Must be a current student at a higher education institution pursuing a degree in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
  • Previous event planning or customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist in planning and organizing events, including logistics, vendor relations, and scheduling
  • Support the event coordinator in coordinating event setup, tear-down, and on-site management
  • Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and event partners as needed
  • Provide administrative support such as tracking budgets, preparing materials, and organizing event details
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Engage with event attendees to ensure a positive experience
  • Other duties as assigned
