Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English and Spanish
- prior experience in event logistics, facilities management, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in event setup, coordination, or facility operations
- some experience in leading or supervising staff or volunteers
- basic understanding of event logistics, equipment handling, and customer service
- valid Texas Driver's License for employees driving college vehicles

Job Duties
- Coordinate and lead the setup and breakdown of events according to client specifications and established safety protocols
- ensure event spaces are consistently clean, organized, and safe before, during, and after events
- manage and maintain inventory of event-related equipment, furniture, and supplies within the warehouse and storage areas
- track and coordinate the use and condition of equipment to ensure availability for scheduled events
- supervise, train, and support student employees and part-time support staff assigned to Event Services
- meet with the Director and Assistant Director to review event plans, staffing needs, and provide updates on team performance
- act as the lead on-site staff member during events, serving as the primary contact for clients to ensure their logistical and service needs are met
- collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support efficient and effective event execution
- maintain a working knowledge of basic audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) systems relevant to event operations
- perform physical tasks related to event setup, including lifting or moving equipment (up to 50 lbs), and standing or walking for extended periods
