Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event coordination or hospitality
- ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in event management or hospitality
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of beverage sales and safety regulations
- customer service oriented
- ability to enforce rules and handle difficult situations diplomatically
Job Duties
- Work with customer service representatives to exceed patrons’ expectations for customer service, quality and cleanliness
- enforce posted rules as needed to promote positive experiences for all patrons
- ensure proper cleaning procedure is executed as outlined for the civic space
- support and assist with the on-site experience for vendors and sponsors
- work closely with the event management team to ensure the event and beverage sales are set up and taken down properly
- manage the bar setup, sales and daily tasks while supervising the customer service representatives
