Job Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or event leadership roles
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, including cocktails, wine, and plated or buffet-style dining
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams
- Calm, professional demeanor under pressure and during high-volume events
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems and ability to follow detailed event timelines
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination or hospitality leadership preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedule
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
Job Duties
- Serve as the on-site lead for assigned events, managing event flow from setup through breakdown
- Ensure all service staff deliver warm, efficient, and polished service reflective of the Common House standard
- Greet clients and guests upon arrival, provide event briefings, and maintain strong communication throughout the event
- Anticipate and address guest needs proactively, resolving issues quickly and professionally
- Partner with the Events Manager to ensure all event details are executed according to the Banquet Event Order and client expectations
- Supervise and support event service staff, assigning stations and responsibilities as appropriate
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to review timelines, menu details, VIPs, and service standards
