Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant conference housing management experience
- Proficiency with Cvent registration and housing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage large-scale room blocks
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in conference housing management
- High proficiency in Cvent registration and/or housing required
- Must have excellent communication skills
- strong emphasis on the importance of written communication abilities
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with high attention to detail
- Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Deadline driven, ability to problem-solve on the fly, resourceful and proactive
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, address last-minute requests/changes while showing grace under pressure
Job Duties
- Manage room block and reservations of 1,200 rooms at one property
- Obtain necessary registration data from Cvent to provide weekly pick-up reports, rooming lists, and changes after cut-off date
- Obtain confirmation numbers from hotel, upload into Cvent and distribute to attendees
- Be the primary point of contact for any housing-related questions including monitoring a housing specific email inbox and answering attendees' questions
- Provide white-glove service to VIPs
- Create, test and launch waitlist workflow
- Reconcile final rooming list and billing
- Prepare debrief document with successes and learnings/recommendations for 2026
