Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial maintenance
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and working knowledge of cleaning equipment
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service focused
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience in heavy public contact
  • Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills with all staff, tenants, and clients
  • Physically able to work long hours on your feet as well as being able to lift and move at least 30lbs
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards/requirements preferred but not required

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Day to day cleaning based upon standard cleaning schedules
  • Handles all aspects of cleaning throughout the facility including event day cleaning and detail cleaning before and after events
  • Stocking and reporting needed janitorial supplies
  • Operate cleaning equipment including buffer/burnisher, rider scrubber, walk behind scrubber, blower, vacuum, and pressure washer
  • Perform housekeeping duties including floor cleaning, restroom maintenance, furniture and equipment cleaning, and window washing
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly as directed by management
  • Review event documents to understand specific event needs and timelines
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Assign tasks and supervise temporary staff as needed
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and management about scheduling and availability
  • Maintain departmental equipment and report repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive employee and client relationships
  • Perform additional tasks to ensure cleanliness and success of events at the arena
