Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays required along with occasional weekdays and evenings
- Proven customer service experience and successful interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate clearly and coherently in written and verbal correspondence such as email and phone
- Able to travel frequently between sites in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and to locations outside the park
- This position has a highly physical nature requiring the ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces, walk and carry items up and down stairs, reach high and low shelves, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and evidence of insurability required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist with and/or act as the point person for Conservancy special events and programs such as weddings, meetings, and events
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guest groups
- Serve as Event Host for Conservancy Extraordinary Spaces events including opening and closing venue space, answering venue questions, and being familiar with floor plans, checklists, and timelines for special events and programs
- Communicate with event caterers about facilities and operations rules and requirements
- Assist with event set-up, tear-down, and facility maintenance during events
- Travel between event sites within Cuyahoga Valley National Park
- Ensure compliance with venue policies and safety regulations
