Job Requirements

- Physical ability to manage event logistics including set-up and breakdown
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about building community through events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn under senior leadership guidance
Job Duties
- Assist in the planning and coordination of community events, Boxi Park activations, and signature Lake Nona programs
- Contribute creative ideas for enhancing existing events and propose new experiences aligned with Tavistock values
- Research entertainment, activities, and trends to support innovative programming
- Help develop event timelines, production schedules, and run of show materials
- Manage vendor load-in, set-up, breakdown, and on-site execution
- Ensure smooth day-of operations, supporting the Senior Events Manager with guest flow, logistics, and troubleshooting
- Support the sourcing and coordination of vendors, performers, and community partners
- Maintain strong communication with partners to ensure event deliverables are met
- Assist with sponsorship activation execution on event days
- Act as an on-site representative for Lake Nona, engaging with guests and partners
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to provide event details, highlights, and guest feedback
- Support creative collateral needs such as signage and decor elements
