Tavistock Events Company (TEC) is a dynamic and creative event production company that plays a vital role in the Lake Nona community. Job Requirements

Flexibility to work outdoors, evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the event schedule
Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams, vendors, and guests
Physical ability to manage event logistics including set-up and breakdown

Job Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or equivalent experience preferred
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about building community through events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn under senior leadership guidance

Job Duties

Assist in the planning and coordination of community events, Boxi Park activations, and signature Lake Nona programs
Contribute creative ideas for enhancing existing events and propose new experiences aligned with Tavistock values
Research entertainment, activities, and trends to support innovative programming
Help develop event timelines, production schedules, and run of show materials
Manage vendor load-in, set-up, breakdown, and on-site execution
Ensure smooth day-of operations, supporting the Senior Events Manager with guest flow, logistics, and troubleshooting
Support the sourcing and coordination of vendors, performers, and community partners
Maintain strong communication with partners to ensure event deliverables are met
Assist with sponsorship activation execution on event days
Act as an on-site representative for Lake Nona, engaging with guests and partners
Collaborate with marketing and communications to provide event details, highlights, and guest feedback
Support creative collateral needs such as signage and decor elements
