Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with computer applications
  • Flexibility to work weekends or holidays
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and understanding of event execution in the areas of sales, planning, banquets and culinary
  • Proficient knowledge of computer applications
  • Ability to work weekends or holidays when needed

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to Sales, Events, Banquet and Culinary Managers
  • Act as liaison between Event and Sales Managers or Event Planning Manager and on-site meeting contacts
  • Communicate effectively with internal hotel departments and external clients prior to arrival, during events, and post-event
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and projects while prioritizing business goals
  • Address and handle special needs or requests during events
  • Develop creative solutions to improve the overall event experience
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel meeting facilities and group event dynamics
