Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience with similar work
  • Physical strength to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds independently
  • Ability to push and pull equipment on carts
  • Ability to climb stairs and walk long distances for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • Forklift certification
  • Must pass a background investigation

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar work
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read stage and setup configuration documents with good spatial recognition
  • Forklift certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Experience working with event equipment and logistics

Job Duties

  • Supervise and mentor the event crew and student workers in daily event tasks
  • Oversee setup and teardown of event equipment for arena and campus events
  • Ensure completion of all setup sheets and work orders
  • Manage inventory including quantity, quality, cleanliness, and organization
  • Assist in managing payroll and scheduling with senior management
  • Facilitate communication between event crew, student workers, and management
  • Coordinate priorities, identify job requirements, and assign staff to specific jobs or projects
  • Communicate effectively with internal department stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned
