Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience with event coordination especially with children
  • retail or customer service experience
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and carrying
  • compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create and execute backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • assist customers with shopping and product location
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on voice of customer surveys
  • assist with omni channel processes including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform store in stock optimization and ad set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
