Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in nonprofit or corporate meeting and event planning
  • Ability to respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Cvent or online registration systems preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours occasionally
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with online event registration systems preferred
  • Marketing or graphic design experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the Director of Events & Pilgrimages in planning and implementing national events and programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries related to event registration, payments, sponsorships, and general information
  • Oversee the registration process using Cvent software including website setup, promotion, payment processing, and on-site check-in
  • Coordinate event logistics such as venue relations, rooming lists, speaker coordination, liturgy planning, transportation, and on-site operations
  • Lead sponsorship and exhibit sales including outreach, contract execution, invoicing coordination, benefit fulfillment, and exhibitor management
  • Develop and maintain line-item budgets for national events in collaboration with the Director
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop promotional and on-site materials for events
