Job Requirements

  • read and write English
  • communicate verbally with staff and customers
  • follow verbal and written instructions
  • interpret technical information
  • stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 10 hours
  • lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly
  • ability to travel and work extended hours
  • be available 2-4 days per week in the office

Job Qualifications

  • must have a bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, or related field
  • prior internships or experience in sporting event industry preferred
  • demonstrated proficiency in event operations and travel coordination
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • desktop publishing and design skills a plus
  • ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • assist with day-to-day contact with event participants including registration, coordinating travel, and tracking data
  • assist with all aspects of planning, setup, execution, and post-event recapping
  • manage information center operations
  • support McDonald’s All-American Games event operations and logistics planning
  • coordinate sponsorship activities
  • communicate with participants and stakeholders effectively
  • support hospitality and on-site event activities
