Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • at least three years of experience in events preferred
  • knowledge of Salesforce, UKG, and Workday
  • strong fluency in Microsoft Excel and Office programs
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as a team
  • ability to multi-task and work efficiently
  • strong time management and attention to timelines
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift 30 pounds
  • willingness to travel overnight for events including weekends
  • ability to communicate via multiple devices

Job Duties

  • Manage cost of sales for events
  • establish and maintain event budgets
  • negotiate pricing with vendors
  • create financial forecasts and collaborate with finance
  • ensure prompt and accurate purchase orders and invoicing
  • advance and coordinate multiple competitions and planning tasks
  • collaborate with logistics and production teams
  • coordinate event details with venues
  • secure event personnel and third-party service providers
  • oversee event scheduling and materials preparation
  • serve as onsite event director managing staff and operations
  • liaise with venue and coaches
  • make financial decisions impacting safety
  • troubleshoot event systems
  • participate in committees and boards relevant to business
