Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in event planning or coordination preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software
  • Availability to work part-time hours
  • Ability to work on-site during events
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute events such as workshops, fundraisers, and community outreach programs
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure the best services and rates
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure marketing details are accurate for events and manage event volunteers and maintain attendee communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events to ensure smooth operations and manage event staff, volunteers, and vendors
  • Track event expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget while providing post-event financial reports
  • Collect feedback from attendees, staff, and stakeholders to assess event success and prepare post-event reports and recommendations
  • Update contact information and capture unique attendee information on Salesforce
