Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Prior catering or serving experience preferred
  • Able to work part-time between 5 and 25 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule during business hours
  • Ability to travel locally within the San Francisco Bay Area
  • High energy and friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality or event coordination
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with technology and POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working flexible hours mainly lunchtime weekdays
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable car access

Job Duties

  • Support Fooda events by setting up and tearing down equipment
  • Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés when needed
  • Coordinate restaurant arrivals and ensure building access
  • Troubleshoot issues like incorrect orders or late deliveries
  • Manage technical problems with POS systems and digital menus
  • Conduct onsite promotions and mobile app coaching
  • Provide real-time customer service and resolve onsite issues
  • Perform restaurant event setup audits for quality
  • Escalate problems to Operations Manager as necessary
