Job Requirements
- High school degree required
- Previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, night shifts and holidays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel preferred
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Effective business writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work with clients to anticipate event needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Hilton operating system and Delphi experience preferred
Job Duties
- Assist Event Manager during banquet event planning and execution
- Maintain filing systems according to SOP
- Establish rapport and act as liaison with banquet clients
- Complete and distribute Banquet Event Orders, Diagrams, and Group Resumes
- Undertake special projects as assigned by Director of Sales and Event Manager
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure event requirements are met
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally
