Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university with relevant coursework
  • minimum one year experience in public assembly facility including supervisory responsibility
  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • ability to work flexible schedule including long days, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
  • positive and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating banquets, tradeshows, conferences, meetings, or weddings preferred
  • minimum one year experience in a public assembly facility with supervisory responsibility
  • bachelor's degree in facility management, hospitality management, business management, or related field
  • clear and concise communication skills in English both orally and in writing
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including long days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • knowledge of AutoCAD preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of assigned events
  • thoroughly describe venue services and coordination to clients
  • assist clients with event logistics and facility usage
  • design set up diagrams in AutoCAD for client approval
  • collaborate with Operations to ensure proper event set up and compliance with safety regulations
  • communicate needs with Food and Beverage, Chefs, and Catering Manager
  • create and distribute detailed Event Data Sheets prior to events
  • ensure clear communication of requirements to building staff
  • update event estimates and complete final settlement
  • problem solve and make quick decisions professionally
  • assist with biweekly Events Department payroll processing
  • complete duties with customer service focus
  • perform other assigned duties
