Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in public assembly facility with supervisory experience
  • Must communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating banquets, tradeshows, conferences, meetings, and/or weddings preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a public assembly facility including supervisory responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college preferred in facility management, hospitality, business management, or related field
  • Clear and concise communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including long days, late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of events as assigned by the Director of Events
  • Thoroughly describe the venue's services and coordinate them to clients
  • Assist clients with event logistics and suggest the most effective facility usage
  • Design set up diagrams in AutoCAD for client approval
  • Work with the Operations Department to ensure events meet client specifications and comply with safety regulations
  • Communicate with Food and Beverage, Chefs, and Catering on event needs
  • Create and distribute detailed Event Data Sheets prior to each event
  • Coordinate clear and timely communication with building staff regarding event requirements
  • Update event estimates and complete final settlements
  • Problem solve and delegate responsibilities professionally during stressful situations
  • Assist with processing biweekly Events Department payroll
  • Complete all duties with customer service focus aligned with company mission
  • Perform other duties as assigned
