Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years event-related or administrative experience
  • Preferred hotel industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to Event Managers and Director of Events
  • Draft event sales agreements, including food and beverage details and billing instructions
  • Manage small guestroom blocks and pickup
  • Answer phone leads and enter them into the system
  • Multitask and handle multiple projects
  • Perform daily office administrative duties using multiple computer programs
  • Assist with internal and external correspondences
  • Provide support for event details, attend internal meetings, and coordinate with various departments
  • Handle smaller groups including guestroom blocks for weddings and food and beverage events
  • Assist clients in the absence of Event Managers
  • Demonstrate Hyatt's values including empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing
