Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of related events or administrative experience
  • Preferably experience in hotel event coordination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in common office software and event management systems

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of events related or administrative experience
  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent customer service and customer recovery skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Providing administrative support to event managers and director of events
  • Drafting event sales agreements including food and beverage details
  • Managing small guestroom blocks and billing instructions
  • Answering phone leads and entering them into the system
  • Multitasking and managing multiple projects
  • Performing daily office administrative duties using multiple computer programs
  • Assisting with internal and external correspondence
  • Handling smaller groups with guestroom blocks and food and beverage events
  • Attending internal meetings and providing timely updates on event details and changes
  • Coordinating with event managers to assist clients in their absence
  • Demonstrating Hyatt's values of empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing
