Job Requirements

  • Event planning experience
  • Associates degree or 60 credit hours towards an associate’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing 75-100 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull up to 300 lbs with a wheeled cart
  • Ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • Event planning experience
  • Associates degree or 60 credit hours towards an associate's degree in any field
  • Funeral Director license a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Interest in obtaining a funeral license a plus
  • Passion for people
  • Ability to coordinate with many internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Great organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Interest in working in a Catholic environment

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary point of contact for families, parish staff, vendors, and internal team
  • Guide families through funeral arrangement process with compassion and care
  • Communicate, coordinate, and follow through on all aspects of funeral service cases
  • Coordinate with multiple departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage schedules and logistics for large funeral functions
  • Provide support in obtaining necessary permits and documentation
  • Maintain detailed records and case files relating to funeral services
