Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in event coordination or front of house management
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proven leadership capabilities
  • ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event coordination, sales, or private dining preferred
  • front of house management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting

  • sales-oriented mindset with a focus on guest relationships and growth
  • knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality service standards

Job Duties

  • Actively seek, schedule, and secure private events and group bookings
  • communicate with potential and confirmed clients regarding event details
  • coordinate menus and pricing for private events in collaboration with management
  • plan event logistics including staffing, setup, service flow, and breakdown
  • serve as the main point of contact before, during, and after events
  • ensure events meet Cork & Pig Tavern standards for quality and guest experience
  • manage daily front of house operations when events are not scheduled
  • supervise, train, and motivate FOH staff
  • create and manage staff schedules including event staffing
  • ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the restaurant
  • assist with opening/closing duties and operational procedures
