Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Two to eight years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in writing and computer usage
  • Ability to multitask effectively under deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with good judgment
  • Capacity to work productively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to attend all scheduled events including some evenings

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-8 years of experience in event planning, community development, or educational programming
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient writing and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced team environments
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to represent the company professionally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Desire to work collaboratively and creatively
  • Availability to work at events including evenings

Job Duties

  • Create and manage event websites
  • Create Eventbrite and Zoom event pages
  • Continuously track event attendance
  • Update event websites post-event
  • Assist in marketing and promotion to grow event audiences
  • Coordinate speaker bios, photos, and communications
  • Send out event related emails and Zoom links
  • Confirm details with speakers and coordinate practice sessions
  • Coordinate moderators and organize prep sessions
  • Implement sponsorship elements including logos and attendee connections
  • Order supplies and coordinate messenger services
  • Manage registration and attendee lists
  • Prepare on-site event materials and set-up
  • Store and manage supplies logistics
  • Provide administrative support to the events team
