Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Experience with children’s events preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage customers of all ages
- Capability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to follow company policies and safety standards
- Willingness to work in a public retail store environment
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy boxes and using ladders
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and performing activities such as face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback
- Create backup or emergency plans for events
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram activities
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Interact respectfully with others
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping, dusting, and restroom upkeep
