Job Requirements

  • proven experience in event coordination or a related role
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to negotiate with vendors and manage budgets
  • proficiency with event management software and microsoft office
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • flexibility to work evenings weekends and non-traditional hours as needed
  • bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role in hospitality or tourism
  • strong understanding of event management principles and best practices
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • proficiency in event management software and microsoft office suite
  • strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends as event schedules require
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management marketing or a related field is a plus

Job Duties

  • plan organize and execute a variety of events ensuring all details are covered
  • source and negotiate with vendors suppliers and venues
  • develop event timelines and detailed project plans
  • manage event budgets tracking expenses and ensuring profitability
  • coordinate event logistics including catering av decor and staffing
  • communicate effectively with clients providing updates and ensuring their vision is realized
  • oversee on-site event execution troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • develop marketing materials and promotional strategies for events
  • gather post-event feedback and analyze event success metrics
  • maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
