- Bachelor's degree in event management hospitality marketing communications or related field
- minimum 2-3 years experience in event planning and coordination
- strong organizational skills and project management experience
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage

Job Duties
- Plan and manage all event aspects including concept development invitation design and guest list creation
- coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients to define event goals audiences and logistical requirements
- oversee logistics for both internal and external events including venue setup catering decor AV needs and security
- prepare and manage event schedules including run-of-show timelines
- act as the primary contact for facilities IT public safety and other support teams
- serve as main liaison for clients managing communications from inquiry through follow-up
- conduct pre-event planning meetings and walkthroughs
- develop and oversee event budgets tracking expenses
- manage vendor relationships negotiating contracts
- provide on-site event management directing staff and addressing real-time needs
- ensure all event elements meet quality standards
- conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports on outcomes
