Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training in the service, food, and beverage industry with working knowledge of restaurant and/or banquet/event operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Ctuit, Caterease, TripleSeat, and/or Open Table
- Must have a current San Diego County Food Handlers card
- Must possess a current RBS (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service) training certificate
- Reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Execute banquet events according to banquet event orders by delegating server and team member tasks and duties and communicate floor plan set-up
- Work closely with the Events Supervisor and/or Events Manager in the coordination of events and/or group functions
- Assist with the growth and support of offsite catering with sales planning details and execution
- Maintain an updated and detailed price sheet of all billable products and services that accurately reflects current costs and the company's profit objectives
- Solicit and promote special event and banquet business, contact past customers, establish relationships with local businesses, and other cost-effective activities
- Negotiate pricing to be approved by the Events Supervisor and/or Events Manager, prepare contracts, and secure customer signatures
- Ensure the process for securing a date and collecting final payment is adhered to
