Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in high-volume event planning
- Proven skills in event execution, guest relations, and staff coordination
- Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary teams
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of high-volume event planning experience, preferably in hospitality or fine dining
- Strong background in event execution, guest relations, and staff coordination
- Experience supporting menu development in collaboration with culinary teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly under pressure
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Manage the full lifecycle of events at The Lawrence, from initial planning to successful execution
- Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development and customization to meet client needs and create elevated experiences
- Lead and support pre-shift staff training and briefings, ensuring alignment on service standards, event details, and client expectations
- Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of events including logistics, timelines, setup/tear down, and day-of oversight
- Coordinate with management, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations
- Provide exceptional hospitality to VIP and high-profile clients, ensuring a polished and professional experience
- Handle day-of event administration including order placement, vendor coordination, and resolution of issues in real time
- Maintain detailed event files, reports, and post-event evaluations to support continuous improvement
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
