Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience in high-volume event planning
  • Proven skills in event execution, guest relations, and staff coordination
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary teams
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of high-volume event planning experience, preferably in hospitality or fine dining
  • Strong background in event execution, guest relations, and staff coordination
  • Experience supporting menu development in collaboration with culinary teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Manage the full lifecycle of events at The Lawrence, from initial planning to successful execution
  • Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development and customization to meet client needs and create elevated experiences
  • Lead and support pre-shift staff training and briefings, ensuring alignment on service standards, event details, and client expectations
  • Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of events including logistics, timelines, setup/tear down, and day-of oversight
  • Coordinate with management, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to VIP and high-profile clients, ensuring a polished and professional experience
  • Handle day-of event administration including order placement, vendor coordination, and resolution of issues in real time
  • Maintain detailed event files, reports, and post-event evaluations to support continuous improvement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
