Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Able to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladder for high shelves
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • Ability to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating fun and creative environments
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons following company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup plans for events
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and credit cards
  • Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
  • Support store shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively and respectfully with coworkers and guests
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleaning activities
