Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Able to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladder for high shelves
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating fun and creative environments
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons following company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback
- Create backup plans for events
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and credit cards
- Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
- Support store shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Interact positively and respectfully with coworkers and guests
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleaning activities
