Job Requirements
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Be available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
- Effectively function in a lively, fast-paced environment with potential noise and distractions
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Move throughout the facility and remain standing for extended periods
- Frequently walk or stand primarily during event execution
- Reach, bend, stoop, and perform light cleaning tasks as necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite advantageous
- Customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of events including birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, team-building activities, and social events
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and client communication
- Collaborate closely with food and beverage, gaming, and operations teams to coordinate event logistics
- Develop detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines and manage budgets effectively
- Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring event spaces are properly configured
- Proactively address issues during events to maintain positive guest experiences
- Maintain meticulous records of event details, guest interactions, and financial transactions
